RFQ Service Delays & Website Developments

This past weekend, we began working on some improvements to our catalogue platform in an effort to make selection and quoting of products and options easier for everyone in our network and we're very close to having everything complete and operational. We're also integrating some clever automations to Promotherapy's order-processing and invoicing side of things (using the same online platform) to reduce some of the admin burden. The process of implementing these changes is not yet complete. So, until fully-implemented, we ask that you don't click thru or attempt the online ordering process just yet because it's still a work in progress. Also for those requesting custom product development and sourcing...

Our factory is fully booked out until January 2020!

We'd like to thank all of our talented sales associates for sending thru so many projects for us this past few weeks - this time of year is always a busy one for us (sorry if the phone and email service is a bit slow lately!).  But we love the reassurance that comes with knowing that our style of small-scale manufacturing still has a place in the modern marketplace. And moreover, we're happy to confirm for our colleagues and associates that Australian-made promotional products still play an important role in the sales & marketing plans of so many great Australian brands. We are however saddened to report now...

4-Day Work Week Leads To 40% Productivity Increase 🕒

A growing number of companies (us included) are adopting the 4-day work week following promising results out of Microsoft, Japan.  Microsoft introduced a program this summer in Japan called the "Work Life Choice Challenge," which shut down its offices every Friday in August and gave all employees an extra day off each week. The results were great! While the amount of time spent at work was cut dramatically, productivity (measured by sales per employee) went up by almost 40% compared to the same period the previous year. By shutting down earlier each week, the company was also able to save on other...

Xmas Shut-Down Period 2019 🎅🎅🎅🎅

After an intensely busy year this year, Promotherapy's production factory will be shutting down for the holidays from Friday, the 6th December 2019 until Monday the 6th January 2020. During this time, we will be contactable via email on sales@promotherapy.com.au. All production jobs currently in-progress will be  completed by the time we shut down, or else scheduled to recommence upon our return and we'll keep you updated as to their progress.  Urgent jobs required before Christmas should really be booked in now, for completion before the closure. We will be using this down-time to catch up on and finally finalise our 2020 new product photos...

How Long Does Plastic Take to Degrade?

How Long Does Plastic Take to Degrade?

The time it takes for plastic to degrade depends on the type of plastic - of which there are 7 main kinds -and the environmental conditions those plastics are exposed to. Plastics never decompose in the way that plant-based products do (i.e. eaten away by bacterias) and only really break-down thru "photo-degradation", the process by which chemical bonds are broken down by photons in the sun’s light spectrum. Meaning that plastic only really breaks down under sunlight. This is a major problem because plastic often ends up buried in landfills -in the dark -where it will remain for thousands, if not millions of years.  Seven (7) Main...
